The weather was truly on our side this weekend, and participants were able to enjoy stunning views along all the routes we prepared this time. The international and Slovenian turnout was wonderfully diverse, with participants coming from Italy, Austria, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Germany, Croatia… and of course, the majority were from Slovenia.
The event came to a close early Sunday morning when Branko and Željko from Croatia returned from the longest 168 km course. After 33 hours and 12 minutes, visibly exhausted but happy, they arrived back at the central venue—the same place where the 95 km and 168 km routes had started on Friday at 8:00 PM. Proud and satisfied, they crossed the finish line to the loud cheers of their support teams.
